Description

The Bristol Longform Improv Workshop presents; The Impressionistic Horror.

This show is a non-comedic deconstruction of a true, horrible event. Inspired by the darkest article in a recent newspaper, the cast explore the real world where real, terrible events happen nearly everyday.

Every scene is spontaneously created around the event from the newspaper article, as the cast and the audience discover together every angle surrounding the tragedy, disaster or crisis chosen. This show is not about improvising a horror movie, it is about exploring the horror of everyday lives.

Due to its improvised nature and the likely subject matter, the show may explore uncomfortable topics. We’re therefore including a content warning for, in effect, ANYTHING that may be in a newspaper article.
